Solar Circus' first performance at the legendary Arrowhead Ranch on a beautiful summer evening. Extra speakers were pumping out the live music over the lake and into the camping woods. Solar played till sunrise, after which breakfast was served. Arrowhead Ranch owner Ken Hoff sits in on percussion. Parts of this show appeared on the "Historical Retrospective" Relix Records release. A third set is mentioned, but no tape has been found. The master tape flip between Get Up Stand Up and Been All Around This World was spliced and cross-faded as best possible.

Mark Diomede - Guitars & Vocals

Subject: I was there!
I remember there were actually four sets (the first just being a "soundcheck." After the second set, I recall a very long break before the third set. And then a very unplanned fourth set after another very long break. The first set really did start while it was still a little light, and the final set really did finish when the first tinges of daylight were starting. Anyhow that is my 22 year old memory of the evening.
I probably saw Solar Circus 80 times, and this had to be the best time I ever had.
